Abstract
Descriptions of two new species of Cyrtosomum Gedoelst, 1919, with an emended generic diagnosis. A summary of the incidence of infection of the genus Cyrtosomum in North American Iguanidae is included. Of 749 hosts examined, 139 (18%) were found infected with at least one of the 4 species of Cyrtosomum. Several dual infections were noted.
