Abstract
The contribution of electron-phonon interaction to the phonon dispersion curve is calculated for Ni-Ti. The anomalies in the dispersion curve are qualitatively reproduced and associated with areas of the Fermi surface having large electron-phonon matrix elements. This provides an understanding of the pre-Martensitic phenomena in Ni-Ti.Keywords
