Abstract
The use of a whole-body counter for the measurement of radioactivity in the hand and arm, following the administration of 59Fe and vitamin B12 labelled with 58Co and 57Co, is described. This method can be used to follow changes in plasma level of Fe. It is suggested that useful information concerning the extravascular deposition of vitamin B12 may also be obtained by this procedure. Keywords
