Abstract
The behaviour of an interface subject to an external pinning forces( is studied in a molecular-field theory. In the case of a pinning force applied near the edge of the system, one finds a finite-temperature localisation-delocalisation transition in the solid-on-solid (SOS) model but not in the Gaussian model. Keywords
