Abstract
In this study, vitamin E (alpha-tocopherol), a powerful antioxidant, is shown to double the survival time of isolated perfused rabbit corneal endothelium. The results are discussed and evidence concerning vitamin E in ocular tissue function is reviewed.Keywords
