Gravitational Ward Identity and the Principle of Equivalence

Abstract
We have written down the Ward identity for a gravitational field interacting with a scalar field. It is shown that in the limit in which the scalar field is taken on the mass shell, this identity becomes the principle of equivalence.Keywords
