Abstract
Conclusions We feel that gastrostomy is a safe, effective procedure that can be carried out with dispatch with minimal complications. There was no death or second operation in this series related to the use of this method. Patient comfort and gratitude and avoidance of many problems resulting from the use of nasogastric tubes encouraged us to expand the use of this method in our practice. Keywords
