Abstract
Vitamin C is not limited in its physiological significance to antiscorbutic action. It also has a regulatory function in intermediary protein metabolism, activating the enzymes arginase and cathepsin and apparently establishing the equilibrium between SH and SS.This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
