NEW GENERA AND SPECIES OF CERAMIACEAE (RHODOPHYTA) FROM THE SOUTHEASTERN UNITED STATES1

Abstract
Five Ceramiaceae (Rhodophyta) are reported from the offshore waters of the southeastern, warm temperate coast of the United States. These include two new monotypic genera,Calliclavula trifurcateSchneider in the Griffithsieae andNwynea grandisporaSearles in the Sphondylothamnieae, and three new species,Callithamniella silvaeSearles,Ptilothamnion occidentaleSearles, andLejolisia expositaSchneider et Searles.
