Abstract
Sheep given α-tocopheryl acetate by mouth excrete virtually all of it in the faeces in 4 days, mostly without hydrolysis. Intramuscular injection of α-tocopheryl acetate leads to the deposition of tocopherol in the tissues, only about 16% being excreted in the faeces in 4 days. Keywords
