Abstract
Exps. on 15 rats showed no relation between protein intake and vit. B2 requirement. The supply of vit. B2 had a direct effect on growth independent of any effect on appetite. The amt. of protein in a vit. B2 deficient diet did not therefore appear to influence the incidence of dermatitis. Hypertrophy of the kidneys of rats on a high protein diet was independent of the vit. B2 content. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
