Abstract
Two structures were seen in Mycobacterium thamnopheos and M. tuberculosis var. hominis H37Rv. One was usually polar, did not stain with nuclear stains, but was analogous in its reactions to mitochondria as found in other cells. The other structure was stained by nuclear stains and gave no mitochondrial reactions. The authors call these structures mitochondria and nuclei, respectively. Keywords
