Abstract
Summary The effect of Verapamil on ionized calcium transport in the parotid gland and duct system was investigated in eight male volunteers. Transepithelial Ca++-transport was inhibited, as shown by markedly enhanced excretion of calcium in parotid saliva.Keywords
