Abstract
The ether soluble fraction of white Chinese silk has been prepared and analyzed. The "silk wax" was found to consist of a mixture of normal primary alcohols and acids of the order C26— C32, paraffins, of the order C23— C31 and liquid fatty acids.Keywords
