Abstract
During a 5-year-period 92 kidney transplant nephrectomies were performed and 87% of these kidneys were removed by a subcapsular technique. Surgical complications occurred in 4% of the cases. Renal allograft nephrectomy is a more complex and riskier operation than simple native nephrectomy. Keywords
