Abstract
The angular distributions of α particles for transitions to low lying states of in the (p,αPr reaction have been analyzed by assuming a coherent contribution from pickup and knockout. The importance of the knockout contribution is found to decrease substantially going from 25 to 35 MeV incident proton energy.
