Abstract
The cross section of as a function of photon energy was determined up to 70 Mev. With a threshold for the process below 35 Mev the cross-section function was found to have a resonance-shaped peak of 0.3 millibarn at 50 Mev with a width at half-height of 6 Mev. The integrated cross section was 2.7 Mev-mb. The mode of the process is discussed on the basis of a statistical model.
