Abstract
A recent paper dealing with high-spin states in rapidly rotating nuclei is shown to be fundamentally erroneous. Among other things, the assumption that the pairing interaction remains invariant in a time-reversal unsymmetric basis precludes the physical effects with which the paper is concerned. An alternative approach is proposed. Keywords
