Magnetochiral Anisotropy in Bragg Scattering

Abstract
We show experimentally that light scattering in cholesteric liquid crystals shows strongly resonant magnetochiral anisotropy near the Bragg resonance; the optical transmission of unpolarized light depends linearly on an external longitudinal magnetic field and on the handedness of the medium.Keywords
