Abstract
A single sample chamber designed for the determination of magnetic moment and susceptibility, heat capacity in magnetic fields, entropy change with field, temperature change during adiabatic demagnetization, and such derived quantities as magnetic work, free energy, internal energy, heat content, etc., as a function of field and temperature, is described. Field range of use is presently to 100 kG. Successive observations may be made with the solenoid field parallel to various axes without removing a spherical single crystal from the sample chamber. Keywords
