Addison's Disease Associated with North American Blastomycosis. A Case Report1

Abstract
Involvement of the adrenal gland occurs in approximately 10% of the cases with North American blastomycosis. Only 3 previous cases of this disease with clinical evidence of Addison''s disease have been reported, although this is not an unusual finding in South American blastomycosis. A 4th case of North American blastomycosis associated with Addison''s disease is reported, and the long latent period between the systemic infection and the development of clinical Addison''s disease is stressed.
