Abstract
A brief review of the literature, with a bibliography of 105 references intended to give easy access to every portion of the field, experimental and theoretical. The topics treated are optimum temp. for growth, growth curves, causes of death by heat, thermal death points of pathogenic bacteria, death rates of bacteria, heat resistance of bacteria in the pasteurization of milk and in the canning of food products, and the effects of low temp. on bacteria. This publication has 13 references indexed in Scilit:
