Abstract
We have used reactions to investigate the states in even Mo isotopes. The appearance of low-lying excited states in with large two-neutron transfer strengths, together with the systematics of the lowest states, suggests the existence of a new transitional region. The large cross section for the excited state in the reaction may be able to explain the anomaly in the spectroscopic factors in and reactions.
