Abstract
Lattice constant, susceptibility, and electrical resistivity data for Ce1−xYxPd3 system suggest that the IV behavior of the cerium alloys goes over to an integral cerium four‐valent state in the Y‐rich alloys (xcr∼0.5). However, XPS results for the 3d core level spectra in Ce1−xYxPd3, Ce1−xScxAl2, and Ce1−xYxAl2 show that there is no modification in the XPS spectra when the electronic transition of cerium is achieved. This publication has 10 references indexed in Scilit:
