Abstract
We show that helices can be used as resonant systems. We describe resonant helices for electron paramagnetic resonance in X‐bands and develop a comparison between their sensitivity and the sensitivity of a normal resonant cavity. For cylindrical samples less than 3 mm diam, the helix is more sensitive and can produce more intense microwave magnetic fields. Keywords
