Abstract
Recently reported emf measurements on cells without transport containing sodium chloride, sucrose and water are compared with isopiestic vapour pressure data for this system published from this laboratory in 1970. Agreement is very satisfactory above 0.05 mol kg–1 sodium chloride. Keywords
