Abstract
Micronodular pneumonia and persistent sepsis with mild symptoms caused by Yersinia enterocolitica serotype 3 is described. Two of 4 patients had pneumonia as their only clinical manifestation, while the others had diarrhea as well. Pneumonic changes disappeared quickly during antimicrobic therapy. The course of the disease was fundamentally different from septicaemias caused by other gram-negative bacteria. This publication has 16 references indexed in Scilit:
