The vitamins of orange juice

Abstract
In the tests for vitamin A, irradiated cholesterol was supplied as the source of vitamin D; 5 cc. of California orange juice per day contained an adequate supply of vitamin A for the rat. Growth-promotion in the rat was used as the test for vitamin B and a daily dosage of 10 cc. of the juice was considered adequate. Preliminary tests afforded presumptive evidence of the absence of vitamin D. Analyses of the juice are included.
