Abstract
The linewidth of the Mössbauer resonance of the 58-keV radiation from has been measured with (as ) and (as ) sources and , Tb metal, and absorbers, all at 80°K. The measured linewidths, extrapolated to zero absorber thickness, are 5.0±1.4 cm for the - system, 7.9±1.8 cm for the - system, and 11.5±1.0 cm for a 22 mg Tb metallic absorber. A few measurements with a - system gave 10.1±1.0 cm for a 27 mg
