Abstract
Mössbauer measurements on dilute impurities substituted for Sb in the ferromagnetic conductor MnSb were performed. The saturation hyperfine field at the tin site kOe was determined. The temperature dependence of the hyperfine field departs significantly from that of the bulk magnetization. The electric field gradient V was measured and was found to be independent of temperature. The systematics of hyperfine fields at solutes in Fe, Co, Ni, and MnSb hosts are discussed.
