Abstract
The causes of bilateral renal enlargement have been studied, and the disease of highest incidence was observed to be polycystic disease, with bilateral hydronephrosis 2nd. Unilateral renal enlargement occurred more frequently on the left. Compensatory hypertrophy was the commonest cause, followed by hydronephrosis, duplication anomaly, and renal carcinoma. Keywords
