Abstract
The current markets for a-Si solar cells are reviewed. The different manufacturing approaches being used in the United States are discussed. An update is also presented on recent progress in improving the properties of a-Si based alloys and on the development of relatively high-performance multijunction thin-film solar cells. Keywords
