Abstract
The thymus apparently plays 2 different roles in car-cinogenesis: removal of the thymus presents the development of lymphocytic leukemia; and thymectomy enhances the rate of formation and growth of other types of neoplasms, especially those tumors which possess specific tumor antigens.Keywords
