Abstract
An asymptomatic neuroepithelial cyst (colloid cyst) located in the leptomeninges between the inferior colliculus and the paravermal region of the superior cerebellum was an incidental postmortem finding. The cyst was lined by ciliated pseudostratified columnar epithelium of the respiratory tract type and cuboidal epithelium of the ependymal type. Its developmental relationship to previously described colloid and paraphyseal cysts in the 3rd ventricle is discussed. This publication has 16 references indexed in Scilit:
