Abstract
The accuracy of the Lex-O2-Con apparatus is compared with the classical method of Van Slyke & Neill (1924) and the inaccuracies introduced by the presence of volatile anaesthetics in the sample are evaluated. The absolute levels of oxygen content depend upon the flow rate of carrier gas through the instrument. Keywords
