Abstract
Exoerythrocytic forms of P. relictum have been grown successfully in culture media (spleen tissue and heterologous fowl sera) and all phases of their morphology, leading up to the free merozoites, have been studied. Such forms were resistant to the presence of penicillin or streptomycin used to keep down bacterial growth. Tests indicated that such cultured forms retained an undiminished infectivity throughout the length of the expt. (19 days).
