Abstract
A simple modification of the cotton wool lymphocyte separation method of Fichtelius is described. The separation gave pure lymphocyte effluents, but the actual yield of lymphocytes was quite variable. Fresh plasma was essential for the adhesion of granulocytes to the cotton wool columns. The efficiency of the separation was dependent on the type of cotton wool used and the tightness of the columns. Keywords
