Abstract
The distribution of HLA phenotypes and the amount of Cd (an industrial pollutant) in the blood was studied in 100 healthy subjects. The HLA-A3 phenotype seems to be associated with high blood Cd levels. The lymphocyte transformation test with PHA phytohemagglutinin and different concentrations of Cd indicates that A3 cells are more sensitive than others to inhibition by Cd.This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
