Abstract
A case of meningococcal vulvovaginitis in a 6-year-old girl is described. The isolation at different times of Streptococcus pyogenes, Streptococcus pneumoniae and Haemophilus influenzae from this child's vagina suggests that the source of the meningococcus was her oropharynx. Keywords
