Abstract
A survey of the practice styles and preferences of 1991 ASCRS members with a U.S. zip code was performed in August 1991. Approximately 3,935 questionnaires were sent and approximately 40% (1,574) were returned after two months. Three main profile questions were used to cross-analyze the results: the age of the ophthalmologist, the volume of cataract surgery per month, and the geographic location. This report also compared the data with previously published surveys of the ASCRS and the Academy memberships. Keywords
