Abstract
The recombination of a shallow exciton bound to the ionized donor is considered within the Hartree-Fock and the effective-mass approximations. The valence and conduction bands are assumed to be simple, i.e., nondegenerate except for spin. The exchange splitting and the longitudinal optical phonon replicas of the exciton recombination line are obtained from first principles. Keywords
