Abstract
Conductive education in a system of education intended to teach children with neurological disorders basic aspects of living and preschool skills. The system originates from Hungary and was developed by Andras Peto. Speech, movement and function are never separated in conductive education and the use of speech in a regulative function is a distinctive feature. The task series teach movement and the co‐ordination of speech and movement. The movements are immediately used in functional tasks which forms the basis for transfer of skills in conductive education. Keywords
