Abstract
A 42 yr old man is presented with rare pigmented villonodular synovitis (xanthomatosis) of the right hip treated successfully by synovectomy. Left hip synovitis is reported 2 yr following original surgery, confirmed by histopathological examination. Pelvic roentgenograms are employed to characterize cystic abnormalities prior to surgery. This publication has 15 references indexed in Scilit:
