Abstract
We perform a combined next to leading order analysis of both inclusive and semi-inclusive polarized deep inelastic scattering data, assessing the impact of new data on the extraction of the sea quark and gluon spin dependent densities. In particular, we find that semi-inclusive data show a clear preference for a positive distribution, although are almost insensitive to different alternatives to
