Abstract
Summary A method for directing the traffic flow of honeybees at the hive entrance, and counting bees electronically, was developed. It achieves maximal separation of incoming and outgoing bees without using inhibitory devices that could bias activity. The counter samples at the entrance and exit alternately, concurrently recording other data. The data may be retrieved manually or interfaced with a digital counter or computer. Keywords
