Disassembling anyons

Abstract
A notion of mutual fractional statistics is introduced, and a field-theoretical construction to implement it is given. Realizations in layered Hall systems are suggested. A generalization of anyon superconductivity, arising from mutual statistics, is proposed.Keywords
