Abstract
Liver metastases occur in as many as 50% of patients with colorectal cancer and are regarded as a principal cause of death. Clinical and experimental studies were undertaken to understand the hemodynamic changes occurring in established liver metastases. Trials of various forms of treatment based on these observations are described. Attempts to reduce the incidence of subsequent liver metastases are discussed. This publication has 26 references indexed in Scilit:
