Abstract
Human synovial fluid was analysed electrophoretically before and after treatment with testicular hyaluronidase. After hyaluronidase treatment, the electrophoretic mobilities of the synovial proteins decreased markedly and were similar to the values obtained for blood serum proteins. The [pi] -component, a complex of hyaluronic acid and albumin, could not be detected after hyaluronidase treatment. Keywords
