Abstract
The Dufour effect in the liquid state has been investigated for 10 systems. Dufour coefficients have been estimated from the experimental data. The values of Dufour coefficients have been compared with those for thermal‐diffusion coefficients estimated from the known data on the soret coefficient using measured values of diffusion coefficients recorded in the paper. Keywords
