Study of the connective tissue of human fetal membranes

Abstract
No significant difference in collagen content per unit surface area was found for 3 different areas of the fetal membranes in relation to the rupture site. EM examination revealed that tissue nearer the rupture site contained fewer collagen fibers than did the other 2 sites studied.
